Chubb AVA keys (often also branded Union) are unusual-looking brass keys common in padlocks and nightlatches. They're fairly small and the cuts are made at a peculiar angle.
These keys are found in Union 1K42 padlocks, Union C-series 'Conquest' locks, Union 1K57 Hercules padlocks, and the Union 4L67E auto-deadlocking rimlock. They can be found up and down the UK and Ireland.
Most AVA keys don't have AVA written on them. Sometimes they have a code on them starting with FB, e.g. FB23. Many have JMA CHU-4G, CHU-5G, Silca ACH or 5ACH4 written on. Many older keys will feature the word 'Lumsden' on one side.
